Reverend Deborah J. McCreary
Founder & Executive Director
Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is divorced and has a son and six grandchildren. She graduated from Aquinas College, majoring in psychology and sociology. She has a Master of Arts degree, as a Family Life Educator, from Western Michigan University. She obtained a Master of Divinity degree, at Western Theological Seminary, and is ordained in the Reformed Church of America as a Minister of Word and Sacrament. Deborah has a passion for women and marginalized populations. She has been privileged to serve with various outreach ministries including Mel Trotter Ministries, and Degage Ministries. She has preached, led women’s retreats and/or facilitated workshops in Michigan, New Jersey, the Virgin Islands, Chiapas Mexico, Uganda, Egypt, and Jordan. Pastor Deborah recently retired from serving as lead co-pastor at Eastminster Presbyterian Church.
Reverend Tamber Bustance
Board Member (Secretary)
Reverend Tamber Bustance is passionate about serving, spiritual growth, building belonging and praying with others. She has served as a Bible teacher, prayer ministry lead, cultural diversity trainer, spiritual formation facilitator, praise dancer, mentor and coach.
Although Tamber began her career as a television news producer, she spent more than 15 years working in learning and development with a focus on cultural agility, developing teams and people and creating inclusive learning environments. She is the co-founder of the Fresh Start Women’s Retreat, mentor for Crossroads Prison Ministries, certified coach, and teaches and serves as a praise dancer at various area churches. She has her Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Valley State University and her Master of Divinity degree from Cornerstone Theological Seminary.
Tamber is a wife and mother and enjoys music, playing with her pets, jogging, and being near water.
Katie Madison CPA
Board Member (Treasurer)
Works for a public accounting firm and has experience accounting and auditing for non-profit organizations and churches. She is currently enrolled in a Spiritual Director certificate program and lives in Grand Rapids with her husband, Brian. She enjoys taking art classes in her free time.
Tika McCoy
Board Member
A passionate Christian who finds joy in spending time with Jesus and delving deep into His word. Armed with a master’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences. She seeks to empower and support Christian women as they navigate the challenges of life after grief, loss, and divorce.
Tika is the author of Broken Clay: Finding Renewal in the Potter’s Hands. Her memoir reflects her deep love for God, her dedication to helping others, and her unwavering belief in the power of faith and restoration.
